Dr. Łukasz Przybyło is an Assistant Professor at the Military Strategy Institute of the War Studies University in Warsaw and President of Tetragon Publishing House. A graduate of the Faculty of Management at SGH Warsaw School of Economics, he earned his PhD in 2010 at the National Defence Academy in Warsaw. His dissertation examined the credibility and effectiveness of military doctrine through selected historical cases.

His research focuses on military strategy and doctrine, military history, contemporary armed conflict, and the Middle East, particularly the Arab–Israeli wars. He is especially interested in how historical experience can inform doctrine development, operational effectiveness, and strategic decision-making. 

Dr. Przybyło is the author, co-author, and editor of numerous scholarly and popular works, including monographies: Doktryny wojenne (Military doctrines), Charków–Donbas 1943 (Kharkiv–Donbas 1943), Historia wojsk pancernych (History of armored forces), and Mabam – kampania między wojnami (Mabam – campaign between the wars), a study of Israeli military operations in Syria from 2013 to 2023. He has also edited studies on Poland as a middle power and The Eastern Front in World War 3. His recent research addresses Russia’s war against Ukraine, military innovation, changes in the international security environment, and the strategic implications of artificial intelligence and nuclear weapons.
